Watercolor & me

My name is Marsha Lyndsey, I was brought up and raised in Essex, where I live to date. My childhood, is where it all started I am 1 of 4, we grew up on a  council estate, and that is where my art first started, I would sew pitchers in to paper and do paint by numbers, as well as  watch "art attack" on t.v, when I was 16 - 22 I worked in sport retail and worked my way up to management, I worked hard and a lot of hours so I could live on my own in a new two bedroom apartment in Chelmsford City so I could be close to work. At 23 I spent a year on the Spanish coast, where I tried Plein air drawing. Now being older and having children on the autistic spectrum I now live in a small village in the Chelmsford countryside, at this stage of my life was when I started with watercolor back in 2012, I found it extremely hard as I brought all the wrong materials ranging from paper to brushes to paint, as the art shops had closed down in Chelmsford, so my choices were limited, Now a good few years on, and finding out a lot on-line I would like to share with you, my experiences and help you as much as I can with watercolor, as this can be a hard medium to master. I will show you all the tips and tricks, have talks about subjects as well as showing you how to master watercolor, making you feel more confident, less stress and bring back the fun to art, making watercolor an enjoyable experience, and at the same time showing you where I live from both City to countryside, here in Chelmsford Essex, we have it all in one.
